An oxygen sensor, also called lambda sensor, is an electronic sensor that measures the oxygen (O2) level in the exhaust gas of an automotive engine. The Oxygen Sensor was invented in Germany by Robert Bosch during the late 1960s. The most common application is to measure the exhaust gas concentration of oxygen for internal combustion engines in automobiles and other vehicles. With the information about the oxygen level, it can be determined how lean / reach the engine is running and the ECU can adjust the air / fuel ratio.
BBT offers high quality OEM and aftermarket oxygen sensors for a large variety of cars.
