Relays and Ignition Modules

A relay is an electrical switch that opens and closes under the control of another electrical circuit, the control circuit. A relay is able to control a large load current of higher power with a small control current, it can be seen as an electrical amplifier. BBT offers electrical relays for Fuel-pumps, Climate-Control, Window-Opener and central locking systems.

The Ignition Module regulates the dwell of the ignition coil and therefor the total amount of energy stored in the coil. The module also regulates the ignition time. At the moment of spark, the module is opening the primary circuit of the primary current. This will generate a high voltage spark at the correct time. BBT offers a large variety of Ignition Modules in OEM and Aftermarket versions.
