About BBT Automotive
A strong partnership thrives on accountability and trust based on reliability.
In our family business, we proceed according to the principle of upholding the decency and manners of the honourable merchant. Since the Middle Ages, our region has been closely intertwined with international markets through the great trading city of Nuremberg.
The new guiding principles have been in place since 1517. Since those days, they have offered guidance for honourable conduct, which we continue to honour in times of globalisation and digitalisation. We are committed to being a role model for future generations.

Meticulous data maintenance
BBT has been a brand partner of TecDoc Catalogue since 2004 and is therefore one of the first 200 data suppliers of this automotive parts database. With over 2,000 listed items and almost 55,000 vehicle models, we may not be the largest supplier, but we are experts in our field. With regard to data, we always make sure that relevant article criteria are properly reflected and that the perspective of the product images is selected with care. Our consistent data quality has earned us the ‘Premier Data Supplier’ seal.

FUTURE THROUGH SUSTAINABILITY
Customer satisfaction and our own high standards regarding our impact on the environment are the milestones of BBT Automotive Components GmbH.
Back in 2015, during the planning phase of our new headquarters in Weihenzell, we asked ourselves how we could make our building as well as the production process sustainable. The building itself was fitted with the latest thermal insulation. Our heat recovery system ensures that up to 80% of the heat from the exhaust air is transferred to the supply air.
300 metres away from us is a biogas plant that has been supplying us with heat since we moved into our beautiful headquarters. Since 2018, we have been generating around 88,000 kWh of electricity/year with our own photovoltaic system. We also store rainwater. From cisterns we use it for fresh irrigation of our green areas.
